The Heart of Cary Association in conjunction with the Town of Cary would like to invite you as a vendor to join us at our 7^th Annual Ole Time Winter Festival on Saturday, December 5^th, 2009 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  A portion of downtown Chatham Street between Academy and Harrison including part of Ashworth Village and Fidelity Bank parking lots will be blocked off for this event.  This will allow for more patrons and vendor booths.  Last year’s attendance was estimated to be approximately 6,000 people.

We will have local performing groups, elementary choirs, a kid’s zone with a moonwalk and kids activities, a roving magician, and lots more entertainment.  Mr. And Mrs. Santa Claus will be present for professional photographs.  We have room for 60 merchants, artists and food vendors.

Festival Information

• The festival committee will approve all vendor products and services.  First priority will go to vendors exhibiting items that are fitting to the holiday gift-giving season.
• Vendor merchandise does not have to be original artwork or crafts created by the vendor, but should be of good quality.
• Selection of vendors is based on a first come basis or is determined by what is being sold.
• We do not provide equipment, tents, tables, chairs or display materials.  Vendors need to provide their own exhibit space materials.
• Tents should be secured; however, nothing can be staked into the ground or pavement.
• All booth spaces are 10’ by 10’ and will be pre-assigned to vendors.  Space location requests will be considered but not guaranteed.
• Booth space is $75.00 per booth.  Maximum of two (2) spaces per exhibitor.
• Electricity fee is an additional $30.00
• Set-up will began at 7:00 am for all vendors and must be completed by 9:00 am.
• Vendors must be opened for business from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. No early departures.
• All vehicles will be barred from the festival area from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for pedestrian safety.
• All exhibitors must be out of the festival area within two (2) hours of show ending time.
• Vendor parking information and vehicle permits, which allow entry into the festival for set-up and tear-down, will be sent with the vendor packets at a later date.
• The festival will be held rain or shine.  The festival committee reserves the right to close early due to extreme weather conditions.
